DC: Banish floating Page Control Toolbar

How can I hide or disable the floating Page Control Toolbar. I'm continually having to move it out of the way and virtually never use its controls, so it's truly unwelcome (and I don't want the controls cluttering up the menu bar either). Surely this feature isn't mandatory, eh? Thanks for any clues.

I guess I wasn't clear. I don't want to hide all toolbars, or use full-screen mode. I just want to get rid of the floating bar and not have its icons intrude anywhere else.

I want to mention that this behavior is by Design however you can request a feature for this here : Feature Request/Bug Report Form.

Well, I won't because I don't work for Adobe. Your suggestion is a good one though and it would improve the service. Whether Adobe think it's worth the undoubted cost is a matter we will never know.

Hi markt99k ,

Please click on the up Arrow to move it to the top, then right click on empty tool bar and select tools category and click option for which you don't want icon for.

Also you can press F8 to hide toolbar

Let us know if you face any issue.

Thank You!

Shivam, that just makes it worse. It adds all of the controls from the Page Control Toolbar to the top, but you can only hide some of them. Am I missing something? Shouldn't this be easier to do, and possible from a single menu or dialog?

You can press F8 to hide Toolbar or you can use Read Mode (Ctrl + H) or Full Screen Mode (Ctrl+L).
