Deskewing scanned pdf with Professional XI

Hello,

I would like to deskew, a pdf file already scanned. In the Optimize Scanned PDF even if I select for filters the Deskew ON and the rest in off and the OCR unchecked I still  have the choice for the Small size and High Quality  bar. I do not like this because anyway it changes the look of the pages.

I would like to simply rotate a bit the pages leaving all the rest as it is. Is it possible ?

Thanks a lot, I appreciate it. How does it work, when it is implemented do we get ann update of the XI or is it included in a future version of the Professional which we have to buy (XII or 13)?

It isn't decided yet. But same will be updated in release notes when this feature will be implemented.

Also now we have a continuous model Adobe Acrobat DC, instead of Acrobat 12, 13 etc. which requires a monthly/yearly subscription. you can try it from https://acrobat.adobe.com/in/en/free-trial-download.html

Thanks.

Hello,

Sorry for the issue you are facing.

Quality slider is not optional for optimization as it provide information about how much compression is required on this document.

Can you please try High Quality setting of the slider(last value of slider) and check if the document look changes for this option as well?

If yes, can you please share the sample document where you are facing this issue (you can use https://cloud.acrobat.com/send to share it).

Thanks,

Thank you for your reply, I can not share the doc. The point is that low or high quality change always the look with respect to the original; they also change the file size. I do not want to change anything and want to keep the original image as is. It looks like it is impossible but I really do not understand why: I do not see why only deskewing one should change complession or anything else. It should be almost like swapping two pages...

Right now this is not supported, as Deskew is part of optimization. And there is no standalone option for Deskew. But I have created a feature request for you.

Thanks.
