Desperate Teacher Needing to Get Acrobat Pro Back! Help!

I'm a teacher who purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro for my Mac work computer five years ago, spending about $75 on it, if I recall.  I have used it a ton over the years and was devastated when they took everyone's Mac a few weeks ago and gave me a PC laptop to work with.  Not only am I sad to have lost my Mac, I don't have my Adobe Acrobat Pro anymore.  And I already need it.  The new cost is $144 a YEAR, which... yikes!!  Is there any way I can get Acrobat Pro on my PC without committing to the big cost?  Thanks- Brandy

One more thing: If you had Acrobat X or XI then you're eligible for an upgrade version, instead of purchasing a new full license...

No, Debra, we can't help you get into your account. You have to contact Adobe Customer Service for that.

$75 sounds like a very low price for Acrobat... It usually costs several hundred dollars. Did you buy it second-hand, perhaps?

Also, you should look into getting the discounted version for teachers and students. See: Teacher software | Adobe

PS. If you do opt for the subscription version, one advantage it has is that you can move from one platform to another without problem (unless you subscribe to Acrobat Standard, which is only available for Windows machines).

Why are YOU paying for a program on a WORK computer?

Lol. I hear you. They give us about $250 a year for supplies, but it gets eaten up by a multitude of things. Saving the cost of buying Acrobat Pro again would sure be great!
