Destinations or Bookmarks or ????

Greetings All;

Acrobat Newbie here.

I'd like to use an Acrobat pdf file as a Help file to my Visual C++ application and I'd like to be able to access certain pages of this pdf from within my code.

My question is .... how does one go about creating and accessing pointers inside Acrobat pdf files and how do I access that page from my code ?

I've uncovered Destinations and Bookmarks but none seem capable of performing the functions I need.
