Digital ID Error Code 2148073483

I'm having an issue with Acrobat Acrobat Pro. I've been using the Digital ID to sign documents in pdf for quite a while now. A few days ago I was trying to sign a document and I received the following message:

"The Windows Cryptographic Service Provider reported an error: Key not valid for use in specified state. Error Code: 2148073483"

I tried to create a different Digital ID but this one shows "Issued by" myself, whereas the original one was issued by my company. How do I get the original Digital ID certified by my company to work again? Do I have to delete it and create a new one? If so, how can I do it?
