Question

Digital password missing for digital signature

This is my third time here. Thank you Shivam for providing more information.

I was able to find the information you cited (the navigation panel was under "view")

BUT this does not help me in retrieving the password that I need in order to digitally sign my document.

(note that I checked my MAC OS keychain access to see if it was even listed, and it is not)

HOW DO I DELETE A FORGOTTEN PASSWORD AND CREATE A NEW ONE?

(I cannot do ANYTHING with the digital signature pane until I get beyond this!)

Thank you so much!

Hi koobles ,

You can create a new one without deleting the existing one.

Open Acrobat>Tools>Sign & Certify>More Sign & Certify>Security settings>Digital IDs>Add ID>A new digital ID i want to create now>New PKCS..........>Enter your identity information>enter the password>Finish

When you sign the document>select the new ID under Sign As.

And remember to note down the password.

Thank You!
