DOC-level dropdown unction to be called from many fields.

In a single pdf having >100 fields with the same dropdowns, would it work to put the dropdown in a DOC-level script and  call it from each field? The choices are the same for each field. An example would be very helpful.

    If you already have populated dropdowns with items, there is no reason to use scripts for such a task, on the other hand if you need to populate lots of dropdown fields with same items there are scripts for that.

    At doc-level you can define functions. At fields you can use this functions.

    You can't put a dropdown in a DOC-level script

    No... Dropdowns are fields. They don't exist in any script, no matter where you place it.
