Question

Double-sided print job won't print. Epson WF 3620 preset settings are set to print double-sided and do work.

I recently purchased an Epson WF 3620 and have enjoyed using it thus far.  One of its features is double-sided printing.  It is one of the presets that have worked flawlessly along with all other features of the printer.

Earlier today, I created a PDF document from an article on the web using an app called Clean Print.  I wanted to print it out for reading purposes later and wanted it to print out using the preset double-sided print feature.  With the document visable in Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, I clicked the print icon and, unfortunately, the double-sided feature didn't work.  I attempted it again and have looked at every option on the printer window but it appears that Adobe Acrobat Reader DC and Epson aren't playing nicely with each other???  This feature works well as I said but not with Adobe Acrobat Reader DC.   All applications, OS X software, printer software, etc are updated.

Does anyone have any recommendations for solving this problem?

Thank you for your assistance!

Hi cherylw6211395,

Please provide the exact dot version of the software & OS installed at your system .Also check whether is there any update available for the software after going through "help > check for updates "

From Print menu in Acrobat after selecting the Printer go to Properties > Then under Printing Shortcuts >you will find the option for Print on Both Sides.

Then Click Ok.

Let me know if it works.

Good morning, YatharthS—

Thank you so much for replying and assisting me. The version of the Adobe Acrobat Reader DC I am using is the 2015 Release Version 2015.010.20060. The system version is OS X El Capitan Version 10.11.4.

After much consternation and after emailing you , I found out that the default settings on the printer had somehow gotten changed. went through the steps and changed them and the print jobs were just fine - double-sided as requested.

I’ve attached a screen shot of what appears when I selected “Printer”. There was no box specifically identified as “Properties”…rather, the “The Print Setup dialog box…” is what popped up. (I’m quite literal, as you can see…perhaps there may be one or two others out there who think like me?). I selected “Yes” to see my options and, voila!, the option for two-sided printing was there. .

Thank you again for your attention to this matter. I appreciate your consideration.

Have a wonderful day.

Cheryl
