Downloading CC to install later on.

Hi. Got a bit of a problem. l am going abroad next week and l will be buying a new macbook there. (USA). While l am away l need to continue to work on some projects and l want to download CC, InDesign, Photoshop on the new laptop. My question: is it possible to pre download the installers here at home, put them on a external drive and then install when l get my new laptop? I am concerned that the wi fi at my hotel will take too long, or not permit me to download all this software. Any ideas?

Would like to request you to please install the program on the system drive,because install process puts information (shared components & preferences) which have to be stored on your primary drive. That information must stay

the same, which is not possible with an external drive that may be disconnected
