Edit text in PDF

Hi, new user to new version of Adobe.I want to type text in predifined box but cursor gives option to type two characters together as I have to type single character. I am unable to find properties option for Add text box. Also how can I activate objects window to use its tool, please help asap thanks

Could you please tell what version of Adobe Acrobat do you have?

What operating System do you have- Windows/Mac?

Is this happening with a single document or with other documents as well?

Cannot edit a file because the advertising to join up screen comes and I am a member now.Cannot proceed.

Need to edit a file.

Hi,

Could you confirm the application you are using to edit pdf - Adobe Reader or Adobe Acrobat?

You may refer to the steps given in this link on how to check the application: Identify the product and its version for Acrobat and Reader DC

If its Reader, follow the instructions given in the following link to download and install Acrobat DC on your computer.: Download and install Acrobat DC subscription
