Embedded a font to .joboptions file using Acrobat Distiller but when I open a Postscript file and convert it to PDF the embedded font does not show up in PDF

Embedded a font to .joboptions file using Acrobat Distiller but when I open a Postscript file and convert it to PDF the embedded font does not show up in PDF.

I opened the PDF using Adobe Acrobat 9 Standard, added a text box form field but the new font that I added does not show up in the Properties box for the form field.
