I uninstalled Adobe Reader to see if this error is eliminated.  Nope, then the check choice is uninstall Adobe Acrobat XI.  Ok., but I don't have a disc, and orig. download of the program was from Adobe.  Hows that work finding the license and whats required to reinstall?

I  only thing that I have not tried is uninstalling and reinstalling the program.  I'm not comfortable doing that without a disc...I found the s/n, so maybe I am worried for nothing....???

You may be worried for nothing

Since you downloaded the program initially, you have a copy. Whether it's on a disc, or on your hard drive, the program is available.

Go for it.
