Error 1646 while updating Acrobat

I am getting error 1646 when I try to install the latest update and the "cleaner" tool above clearly states it is NOT for versions of Acrobat that are part of Creative Cloud, which mine is.  I am unable to uninstall Acrobat DC using either the Adobe CC control panel or the windows system program control panel.  Please advise.

I don't think this is the right solution.  I don't want to uninstall all CC apps, and this cleaner tool has no option to uninstall Acrobat DC. All I want to do is install the latest update to Acrobat DC but when I try to do so, I get error 1646 saying the "Uninstallation of the update package is not supported," which makes no sense as I'm trying to install, not uninstall the update.  I have Adobe CC Student/Teacher edition.  Please advise here or at bradyd453@gmail.com

Hi Brady,

Are you able to launch Acrobat, if yes, click on Help Menu > Click on "About Adobe Acrobat." Let me know the current version installed.
