This occured to me when my C:\Windows\Installer folder got wiped.

I ended up installing on another system then copying the Acrobat specific file & folder from the new to the old.

I was able to determine what files to copy by looking at the date stamps on the file and folder that was just added...

In my case, with Acrobat XI, my file was named :

SourceHash{AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-BA7E-000000000006}

The folder name was :

{AC76BA86-1033-FFFF-BA7E-000000000006}

If you look at the contents of the folder you should see a bunch of files related to the product you are trying to fix.

Problem is in Acrobat XI, Have tried all published fixes. Program is installed and operates correctly, but cannot update or uninstall.
