Error Creating PDF with PS via Distiller (Adobe DC Pro)

Would anyone be able to point me in the correct direction when creating a the below error when trying to create a PDF file via a postscript file sent to Distiller. If I try sending the file to the PDF printer it converts it with no issue.

Here is the error from the log.

From what app do you makePostScript? What settings, driver, PPD? And why?

Hi jorgef20746035 ,

Please provide the exact dot version for the software & OS installed on your system .Also check whether is there any updates available for the software after going through "Help > Check for updates ".

Also in Acrobat, from help menu repair the installation if you have Win OS.

Using what application the actual file is created, also check whether is this happening with the other files as well or with this document only. Try these steps also :-

** Restore Preferences :-

On Windows:-

1.Choose Start, type reg edit in the Start Search,and then press Enter.

2.In the left pane of the Registry Editor, navigate to the following key: HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Adobe

3.Remove the Acrobat preferences registry entries.

On MAC :-

1.From finder,please navigate to Go >Go to folder > Library,from here under the preferences folder remove all the ".plist" files for acrobat .

2. Then from Go to folder > ~Library, from here under the preferences folder remove all the ".plist" files for acrobat .

This is on a Windows 2012 R2 Server, Adobe DC Pro Distiller is watching a "Watched Location"  Files being dropped off are Word 2010 files.  I have another server setup in the same fashion working without any issues.

Both servers are just about the same, only difference is on this server that it fails on, it  use to have Adobe 10 installed. Which was uninstalled and the Adobe Cleanup Tool ran to clean up trace items left behind.

Distiller doesn't convert Word documents, only PostScript.  But I am concerned to hear that Acrobat is being used on a server, because that is (Adobe people often say) contrary to the license. I recommend you investigate Adobe LiveCycle PDF Generator, which replaced the Distiller Server product.
