"Error occurred when trying to access this service" When trying to save to Document Cloud
Hey Guys,
I'm using the current version of Adobe Acrobat Reader DC, the free, non-pro version. It's the latest version of the software (Ver: 2015-017-20053). I'm running Windows 7 Pro 64x. I have an account, and each day I see my name in the upper right-hand corner. When I click the pull-down triangle next to my name, it shows two options, My Account and Log Out. I'm reading a PDF Textbook that is password protected against copying. The only changes I'm making to the PDF are highlighting some text and adding sticky notes. I can easily save the changes (highlight passages as I read the book) locally to my hard drive. That's not the problem now.
So, now that we've set set up the background, here's my problem:
About 80% of the time over the past month when I try to save the PDF to the Document Cloud, I receive the message "Error occurred when trying to access this service". I've tried various ways to save the PDF; clicking the little cloud with arrow, (Shift+Control+W) and I even try going to File and Save As then choosing Document Cloud. But none of them work. I can log out and log back in, and I still receive the error message. And it's always after I've watched the grey progress bar "Saving to Adobe Document Cloud" progress from 1% slowly up to 100%, then "Virus Scanning...", then the error message appears or the "Saved Successfully". As I've said, must of the time it's the error message. I think the issue might be at Adobe with their virus scanning software as when the saving progress bar reaches 100% and the "Virus Scanning..." only flashes quickly, I get the error message. If the Virus Scan runs for about 5-10 seconds, I'll know the document has been successfully saved to the cloud.
I've tried logging out and back in and also uninstalling and reinstalling. I still have issues saving to the Document Cloud.
Any help you can give would be appreciated
Thanks,
Steve
