exit code 6

I have a licensed version of Adobe creative suite 5.5 master collection  ( cd format) running on mac book pro 2011 model. However if I try to install adobe acrobat x pro it gives me error - Exit code 6 at the end of the installation. All the other software can be reinstalled and it's only for acrobat that I seem to get an error.

Tried uninstalling all adobe software and reinstalling but adobe acrobat seems to still give me this problem
