File Preview Missing

Question

When users are in file explorer or emails and trying to preview a PDF they get an error that they are not able to preview the file.

In emails the error is the following: "This file cannot be previewed because of an error with the following previewer: PDF Preview Handler for Vista To open this file in its own program, double-click it."

In file explorer: "This file can't be previewed."

Acrobat 9 standard

Version 9.2.0

Operating System:

Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard

Service Pack 1

With so many non-supported products I would not holdout much hope for a solution. Microsoft no longer supports Windows Vista and Adobe not longer supports Acrobat version 9.
