File saving

Question

When I create a PDF and ask to save it with a new file name, many times it is getting saved as a an already existing file. That is, instead of creating a new file, an older file somewhere on my PC is getting overwritten. This is happening almost always, not always.

Does anybody have a solution to this?

Hi kumaruvI am sorry for the delay in response.Assuming you have Adobe Acrobat installed on the machine, you might try repairing Acrobat and see if it works, launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>select Repair Installation.Could you please let me know how you are creating the pdf?What is the version of Adobe Acrobat installed on the machine?To check the version of Acrobat, launch Acrobat>navigate to Help menu>select About Adobe Acrobat Thank You,Shivam
