Question

Filling out forms

I am using Adobe Acrobat Standard 9 (I have not yet moved into the 21st century).  In past years, when filling out IRS forms at this time of year, it was a simple process.  This year, I am unable to fill in check boxes, and the point size of the text is way too large (that is, when it permits me to fill in the box).  What drop-down menus do I need to complete in order to simplify the entering data process?

Thanks in advance.

Is there a particular form that you can provide a link to?

Hey, George --

Thanks for the prompt response.

I have downloaded pdf forms from the IRA Forms and Publications website.  Interestingly, I just downloaded one of the forms again, and when I open it all of the necessary fields are highlighted in blue.  Data is entered easily.  Evidently, the document options saved with the earlier pdf form must be different than those specified in the recently downloaded form. For example, on the old form, using the Typewriter setting, I was unable to change the font and point size.  Because of my limited knowledge of Adobe, I will try downloading all of the forms again from the IRS site, unless there is a simple menu option in Adobe that accomplishes what I want.
