Final Draft 9 to PDF--file size problem

I'm having a file size problem creating a PDF from Final Draft 9. Normally the file size is 300KB or so--but the current file, no bigger than any I've done before, will only save at 29MB--WAY too large to email. Any ideas?? I don't want to compress or use a file sharing service--Final Draft normally saves at a size easily emailable, so I'd like to figure this out.

One thing you can do, though, to gain insight as to what's taking up so much space in your file is to open it in Acrobat (Pro) and then open the Content panel on the left, right-click the top level item and select Audit Space Usage. This will open a dialog that will show a breakdown of the file size per category. The things that usually take the most space are images and fonts.

To be a bit more specific, Final Draft has its own internal facility for PDF export. As such, at Adobe we have no real insight as to how they are creating PDF and the factors going into PDF file sizes versus the contents you are creating PDF from. Per Bernd Alheit, contact Final Draft's technical support organization for assistance with this.
