downloaded find_highlight_and_extract.sequ from https://acrobatusers.com/actions-exchange

but when I double click then I get a pop up saying that the file format is not correct or it has not been properly

decoded during download.

The original poster seemed to be trying to use an action by double clicking the SEQU file. That's sure not going to work, not at the start, and still not after all these years. Is that what you're doing?

I think they're just trying to import it into Acrobat, not run it. And that should work by double-clicking the file.

Use the Action Wizard to import the sequ file.
