For to edit a scanned doc- how do I effect the edit icon?

Many times have I tried both the Edit icon and the Comment icon: this to erase a mistake in my scanned doc-: The tutorial that tells me how to effect said icon: do not seem to apply to my Acrobat pro-DC version (windows)

Thanks for your report.

We need more details for understanding the issue:

  • What happens when you click on the Edit PDF tool?
  • Also, please check if "Revert to Image"\"Convert to Text" option (available in the right hand pane) is active or not after enabling editing.

A scan is basically an image. You'll need to edit it using a graphics editor.
