Found where to download Acrobat 7 and 10 but now I get the invalid serial number message.

I received my serial numbers from Adobe. I blocked and copied straight into my Excel.  I downloaded the Adobe program and now I'm getting a message telling me it is an invalid serial number.  I'm using the correct number for the correct program.  Neither worked.  I tried it with and without the hyphens. Why am I getting this message?

I un-installed everything Adobe, reinstalled Adobe 10 Standard and then it worked, was asked for both serial numbers and was able to register my product.  Thank you for your assistance with this.

Ok, thanks. We've exhausted all the common things to go wrong, unfortunately. You now need to contact customer service. This can be painful because you've left it a long time: Acrobat X is now out of support, and while they are supposed to help with serial number issues, there seems to be a strong contingent that just gives up if the product isn't in their chart. If you still have a receipt that would help. The presence of a number in your registrations can help, but occasionally they have been blocked in the intervening years.

Swell.  How do I contact customer service?  Adobe makes it difficult to contact customer service.  They also make it difficult to recommend their products.

Thanks. This isn't related to Acrobat 7.

If this was received in a bundle, e.g. with a scanner, you need the original disk.

If it was a regular retail product, double check you have the right download. There is a choice of

* Acrobat Standard

* Acrobat Pro

* Acrobat Pro Extended

I am using Windows 10.  I am using the serial number Adobe gave me.  I am using the serial number that is in my account page.  When I installed the Adobe Acrobat 10 Standard version, it did not ask me for the serial number for Adobe Acrobat 7.  Do you want me to list the serial numbers on this forum?

No, it it is very important NOT to list the serial numbers here. But I would like you to tell is the exact message(s) you get. Also, are you reinstalling from an original CD that you got at the time of purchase, or a new download, or something else? Please answer all questions, we do ask them for a reason!!

Now you want to install Acrobat 10. As I previously advised, please FORGET installing Acrobat 7.

Acrobat 10 should ask you for your Acrobat 10 serial number AND your qualifying serial number. Enter the original Acrobat 7 serial number (NOT a replacement) as the qualifying number.

Now, if you are still stuck, please reply with the EXACT ERROR MESSAGES you get. Thanks.
