From time of puchase how long do i need to wait to activate, have tried to activate my dc pro after purchase but did not accept the serial number.

There is no delay in accepting serial numbers. Did you buy direct from Adobe? Does it use the words "serial number" in your sales material, or does it say something else like "entitlement code" for example?

Yes, i bought it directly at adobe, and yes it says "Serial Number"
