Help - Invalid code with new disc

I have a new disc of Adobe Acrobat 9 standard. the installation process goes fine. But when I go to open a pdf after installation an error message pops up that says, excuse the interruption but the serial # is invalid. I do not know what to do.

I keep getting invalid serial number when trying to download from a disc that I got when I bought from DELL...........I had to install a new hard drive and I can't get this sucker to load
