Help with inherited AdobeForms system for collecting data

Question

I have recently inherited a system that uses AdobeForms to collect data, the system has been untouched for 12 months. I now have 1812 emails sitting in an inbox - each one with a response pdf attached.

Is there any other way to export the data to the response file, other than clicking on each file individually? The response file is already set up and in use.

I am ok with batch scripting and have a development background although I have never worked with javascript.

If someone can point me in the right direction I would be grateful.

If the Distribute command was used you should be able to get the responses from the Tracker.

Otherwise you will need to save the files locally and then you could use the Merge Data Files into Spreadsheet command in Acrobat to extract the data from all of these files to a single spreadsheet.
