How can I change the language? It does not work when I do it in the preferences tab

How can I change the language in Acrobat DC? It does not work when I do it in the preferences tab.I choose the option choose at the application startup .  Then i shut it down and reopen it and it's still in english! it doesn't give me the chance to choose a language.

help please

Please refer the steps provided in this thread: how to change language in Acrobat pro DC

If you still experience the issue, try uninstalling Acrobat DC (If on Windows, use cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs ) and restart your system.

Then re-install from this link: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

I followed all the steps you told me to and it still never asks me in wich language i want it! It seems like I only have the possibility to put it in english and i need it in french...
