How can I retain a searchable PDF Binder file from consolidating individual searchable PDF files?

Using Adobe Acrobat 11 Pro, when I create a single PDF file from individual searchable PDF files, the consolidated PDF file is no longer searchable. Is there a setting in Acrobat 11 Pro that handles this?

Not sure if you already got an answer to this. I had a similar thing happen, and the problem was an old version of Flash. IT updated the Flash player and it fixed the issue. I don't know any of the technical specifications, though.

How did you combine the iles?

June 1, 2016

I have Acrobat Pro.  In Outlook, I select multiple emails, right click, and then convert to Adobe PDF.  Once compiled, it used to  populate a document where you could scroll through the catalog of emails that I combined at the top with a reading pane in the bottom.  Now, it only shows the most recent on bottom and a blank screen at the top.  It will search all the documents converted, but not display them.   Any ideas?  I've toyed will all the options to no avail.

Thanks, Dan
