How do I delete a text box I inserted from the Fill & Sign option?

I am unable to delete two text boxes I inserted with the Fill & Sign tool and now need to delete them. I have tried highlighting and delete, with no results. If you can provide instruction I would be forever grateful.

Did you sign the form?  When you sign and save the PDF the content is "flattened" meaning it cannot be edited.
