How do I get a button to work when the PDF is viewed on a smart phone?

Hello: I created a PDF in which I inserted a button that when clicked, opens a URL to an address in Google Maps. This works fine when the PDF is viewed on a desktop computer, but the button does not work when the PDF is viewed on my iPhone 5s. Can you help me create a button that will work when the PDF is viewed on my iPhone? I'm using iOS 9.2.
