Question

How do I make two text fields auto fill depending on a selection from a drop down menu in pdf?

I have a pdf form that I am using for a registration page. When you select a training course from the drop-down menu, I would like for the date and location of the course to auto-fill in the appropriate text fields depending on which training course is selected.

See these tutorials on how to do that:

https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/change_another_field

https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/js_list_combo_livecycle

If you're interested, I've developed a (paid-for) tool that allows you to set it up very easily, without having to write any code. You can find it here: http://try67.blogspot.com/2015/07/acrobat-populate-fields-from-dropdown.html

Not sure what I am doing wrong but none of these worked for me. I tried your download, the free version first because I wanted to see if it worked before purchasing but the free version does not allow me to do anything. I know it has to be something simple I am missing.
