How do I recover my permission password for a document? How do I break the code?

lost my permission password. How do i recover it? I see that there are software that does this and it could take a day or so. My pw was a combination of letters and numbers.

The document is 43 pages long! Google suggest a dozen programs that can decypher a password. any suggestions?

Adobe do not allow discussion of password hacking techniques in their forums, I believe, for obvious reasons. You'd perhaps feel the same way if someone was trying to hack your document, rather than recover a lost password.
