How reliable is PDF security?

Hi there

I would like to hear you about how reliable are PDF security passwords.

You can google dozens of methods to unlock files.

The simplest one is printing the file from google chrome built-in PDF reader and saving it as an unlocked file...

Can you indicate me a method to avoid that?

Thank you in advance

You can use Certificate security or a DRM solution.

Thanks for your answer.

The problem is I need to distribute the files but I don´t want readers be able to edit them, or copy the content.

I found some more information on the link below:

Adobe PDF Security Issues | Acrobat Vulnerabilities | Adobe PDF Cracks

The conclusion in this article is discouraging: "The only way your property can be safe is if you keep it to yourself."

The PDF Viewer of Google Chrome can't open the file when you use Certificate security or a DRM solution.
