How safe it is to share an Adobe pdf link?

I want to start using Adobe send & track in order to share large Pdf files, but I have a concern about how safe it is to share link by email so the recipients will only be able to see the shared file and not any other files. I am not familiar with this feature of Adobe and just starting using the paid version of Adobe Acrobat DC with multiple tools and this seems to be a good one I could use. Also, could anyone open and download the file, even if they don't have Adobe Acrobat?

On sharing the PDF link, document get uploaded on the cloud & a unique link is created.

If the same link is shared by other users then they will also have the access to the shared document.
