How to automatize PDF forms data extraction (in background task) ?

Hi everyone,

Is there a way to automatize PDF forms data extraction (PDF to .xfdf for me) in background task, without starting the software ?

I've tried with VDS (Visual DialogScript) to simulate keyboard hits to do the job but it does start the software, what I want to avoid.

I work with Adobe Acrobat DC Pro (latest) ; actually this is the trial version : I test it before buying.

How want you use a software without starting the software?

They probably mean without the GUI appearing, ie in command-line mode or as a background task.

Not possible with Acrobat.
