How to change name when making a "comment" on Acrobat

Hello,

I cannot figure out how to change my name when posting a "comment" on a review in Acrobat. My boss' name keeps coming up, but my name is in the corner of the PDF. When I right-click the comment, go to properties, and then general - my boss' name is "locked" so I cannot change it that way. Is there another way to change it? I've tried going into preferences from the top and clicking the box - always use log-in name for author name - and it's not working. Help?

You need to un-tick that box and then edit the properties of one comment

and set it as the new default.

Tried, but no luck...

I went into Acrobat --> Edit --> Preferences --> unchecked "Always use log-in name for author name"

Went into old comment --> right clicked --> Properties --> General --> Author name = greyed out and unable to edit.

Never mind - I think I've got it. I was trying to edit comments in an old document that was no longer "Active"...? Maybe that was it. Tried and practiced on an open one and was able to change. Hopefully the adjustment will stick with other documents here on out and I won't have to make the change every time a new document is sent.
