How to create and edit javascripts?

Hello community!

Two easy questions for you guys:

1) I am trying to establish a simple command of dividing and substracting, how do I create the javascript for it? a-b and a/b

2) Is it possible to set an IF option? For example, IF x is TRUE then divide a/b IF not, then give me 0 or NA.

No, they are not easy because this is the free Reader forum, and Reader does no do javascript. On what kind of file do you east to use those scripts?
