How to fix problems validating serial number for Acrobat XI Pro?

I have a PC with Win 7 OS.  I purchased Acrobat XI Pro over a year ago but had problems validating its serial number so I just continued to use X Pro.  Now I have installed XI PRO.  I have been unable to enter its serial number.  When I try to start the program, I find a box appears on my screen.  It contains  and I cannot , I am asked to validate my serial number. Here is a picture of that box.  The dropdown list on the left does  not contain Acrobat XI Pro, but, curiously, the label in the upper left confirms that this box appeared from the program Acrobat XI Pro.   Very Odd.  Does anyone know any other way to validate the serial number?

It seems that the Acrobat XI pro program which you have is an upgrade version.
