How to get zero's in collated field

Hi,

I understand how to get leading zero's to be visible in a field but for some reason when I try to collate 5 fields into a new field, it will not carry the leading zeros for those fields beginning with zero's.  Can anyone please help?

Hi Try67 - Not sure if you actually received the form I sent in reply.  Thought if you see the form and the programming you might instantly know how to fix it.

No, I didn't receive it because you are replying on the forum, and you can't attach files here, only links to them if they are shared on a site like dropbox.

However, I don't think I need it. In the last line of your code change all of the value properties you're using to valueAsString and see if that solves your problem.

How are you collating the values, exactly?

Hi Sir,

I hope you don't mind me just sending you the form. When you look at the first (5) fields below Add, Change, Delete, those should collate into the Fixed Asset # in the upper right hand corner. If I change the first zero in the location or asset field to 1 or any other number it will collate to the new field, but for some reason the zeros won't collate.

Thank you, Jim
