How to reference an excel sheet to modify form fields

Good evening.  I am curious as to find a way to edit the values of a form field based on an excel sheet.

Our company deals with many different medications, and cancers.  We have master excel sheets to reference the cancers and their codes, and medications, etc, for our employees.

Is there a way to access an excel sheet through JS?
