How to SaveAs with date in form

Hello, I have created a fillable form that requires digital signatures before saving.  I'd like to use a JavaScript, through a submit button, to save the completed form to a specific drive location and include the current date in the file name.  This would help prevent users from saving over the existing form, as well as, identify the form submissions with in the drive location.  Any help with the script would be most welcome.  Thanks!!

Also use OS protection for the original file and its directory. Many people will habitually Ctrl+S as they work.

Thanks, the same computer is used with different login credentials for each user.  Would it work under those circumstances?

Yes. You can install the script in the "app" JavaScripts folder and it will available to all users on that machine.

It's possible, but requires installing a script on the local computer of each user who is going to use this form.
If that's possible in your case, see this tutorial: https://acrobatusers.com/tutorials/how-save-pdf-acrobat-javascript
