I am trying to fill out an online pdf document and keep getting an error that says to download Acrobat 8 or higher. I have it. now what?

This is the error that keeps popping up on the website:

"The document you are trying to load requires Adobe Reader 8 or higher. You may not have the Adobe Reader installed or your viewing environment may not be properly configured to use Adobe Reader.

reader isn't the same as acrobat so it's not clear (to me) whether that's a website problem failing to recognize acrobat or a problem on your system failing to associate pdf's with acrobat.

in any case, Filling in PDF forms in Adobe Acrobat or Reader
