I am trying to install my Adobe Acrobat 9 on a newly bought PC, but get the message that my serial no. is invalid. I faced the problem last time I changed PC, but Adobe nolonger offers support.

Acrobat 9 is not compatible with the current OS, which is probably why they don't support you, but they should still let you know if your s/n is a valid one or not... Try contacting them again and request this information.

I tried contacting them again and they did confirm that serial no. should be valid. Still I get the message that serial no. is invalid, when trying to download Acrobat Standard to my new computer. They even sent me the link to download page, to be sure that I was trying to download correctly, but still does not work.

Well, I don't know what else to recommend. If you have a valid serial number Adobe is responsible for it being accepted by their software...
