Question

I don't know why I can no longer print to pdf

About 2 weeks ago I started having problems with my print to Adobe PDF.  I have looked through multiple forums for assistance, removed and reinstalled the Adobe PDF printer and finally, uninstalled and reinstalled Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.  Nothing has helped and I still can't print.  I am running Windows 7 Professional.  When I try to print from Word, the file appears to print and goes into the print queue.  However, it will never spool or print.  I have Start printing immediately checked on the printer properties.  If I try printing as PDF from adobe, it goes into the print queue and spools about halfway before stopping.  The system is not asking me to save as either.  I have no idea what happened but this is driving me crazy and I can't figure out how to make it print again.  Please help.  Thanks.

Hi gimommy89

Please let us know the exact dot version of Acrobat XI Pro you are using on your system.

Are you experiencing this issue with a specific file?

Have you tried uninstalling Acrobat application using Acrobat cleaner tool Download Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner Tool - Adobe Labs ? If not, try once and restart your system after that.

Then re-install the application from this link: Download Pro or Standard versions of Acrobat DC, XI, or X

Let us know how it goes.

Regards,
