I got new Mac but Acrobat 9 doesn't want to install

I tried to install acrobat 9 pro on my new Mac and it doesn't 'launch'...just gives me Acrobat icon and Acrobat at top left of my screen - but doesn't provide opportunity to list my serial number or even launch into the product.  Any ideas?  I use OS 10.11.3

Hi ,

Please check the system requirements for Acrobat 9.

Adobe Acrobat system requirements

It is an older version of Acrobat and also an incompatible one with the OS you are using.
