I have Acrobat 8 Standard that now crashes everytime I open it. Also, unable to re-register. Get a message that Adobe can't be contacted. Using Windows 10, Office H&S 2016.

Acrobat 8 Standard crashes after a few seconds of either opening the program or a few seconds after opening a pdf file to read/edit. Any fixes, suggestions, etc.?

Would like to inform you that the Acrobat 8 Standard is not compatible with Win 10 .

Please refer to this KB article showing the compatibility requirements for older versions :- Adobe Acrobat system requirements

Would request you to upgrade your product.
