I have two word documents that I want to convert to PDF. When I try to have them converted Adobe tells me that because they may have been emailed they cannot convert. How do I get these files converted to PDF format.

Does it really say exactly that? I wonder if you are trying to open a Word document in Acrobat Reader, and it is telling you the file is damaged (for example, it was sent as a email attachment ).

You cannot open Word documents in Acrobat Reader. Have you paid for any Adobe service or product to do conversion - if so, which one?

Save As before converting.
