I reinstalled Win 10 about 3 weeks ago.  Then tried downloading and installing Acrobat Reader. However, during the install it gets about 65% then stops stating " A newer version is already installed.  I formatted the drive before reinstalling Win 10 and have spent many hours reading help articles and forum issues.  I cannot afford to waste any more time hence, I would appreciate and help.

Hi Carrera935GT ,

I am sorry for the late reply .

Could you please  let me know when exactly do you get that error message .

Try referring this link :  Internal error 2753 when installing Acrobat or Reader and let us know if this helps .

Also try running the Microsoft installer cleanup tool and then try installing reader .

Let us know if this helps .

Hi Sarojini,  I last night I followed the instructions you sent me but i had another failure.  Only this time it was a different failure.  The Error Code was 2753.  The statement is "The File, 'rdrservicesupdater.exe' is not marked for installation".  I hope this helps you help me.

Thanks,
