Question

I used to be able to allow a document access without password but to restrict copying or changes in it. Now I cannot restrict changes unless I require a password. Is this a must? what can I do to restrict changes yet allow opening and printing?

Many years ago, more than 15, you could set security with neither an open password nor a control password. You must  now have one or the other. Do you feel you have to set a password and tell your end users? You don't.
